Areas of my work

I graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb having studied directing and radiophony. I also completed my studies in philosophy and comparative literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar.
I continued to learn and train through praxis, congresses, workshops, courses, education, as well as in my travels; I am in a constant process of lifelong learning.

The areas of my work are: a) life coaching and philosophical consultation; b) directing and stage creation; c) prevention, resocialization, and therapy; d) innovation in creative entrepreneurship and e) upbringing and educational themes.

I have directed 134 theater plays that have premiered in Croatia, Yugoslavia, Finland, Germany, and Ireland.

Multinational and multilingual theater

I moved to West Berlin in 1988 to realize my ideas for a multinational and multilingual theater. This is how Wind Spiel Theater was created, in which I brought a series of projects to life. Café der Intuition garnered special attention and was performed every month over the course of seven years.

In 2002, I founded the teNTheater, and among other projects, I set up the James Joyce series, which was shown from 2006 until 2013 and consisted of five plays, four of which premiered. In 2010, I received the award for Best Directing, at the International Theatre Festival in Katmandu, Nepal, for the first two plays of the James Joyce series. The play received an award both as a whole and for the actors in the play.

I have published works on theater, philosophy, and interdisciplinary work, in which creativity is the main theme.

My work on projects that deal with the work and life of Augustin Tin Ujević and James Joyce is documented in books that have been published along with the plays.

Methods for encouraging creativity and personality development

I have authored new methods of work for encouraging creativity and personality development in education, prevention, socialization, and resocialization.

In 1995 in Berlin, I initiated the founding of the international institution theakademie for education in stage vocations. I was the artistic director of theakademie until April 2012. I designed the curriculum and worked as an assistant professor for acting, directing, and theatre pedagogy, and worked as a coach for students’ directing projects.

As a researcher and coach for creativity, I point out the importance of creative potential and I encourage it.

Because of my diverse and innovative work, I was listed in the book Who is Who in BRD.

I am employed at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zadar. Since 2015, I have been teaching at the Department of Psychology, as well as at the Department of Philosophy since 2019.

One of the main questions I deal with is how to nurture curiosity, for which I find answers through praxis.

On these pages, among other things, I wish to inform you about the possibilities to train and be educated in the methods I have created.
